As the year draws to a close, we reflect on the incredible power community that defines our town, Frome. This year, we achieved something truly remarkable—together. Acorn, the commercial developer stepped down and showed us that when a community stands united, anything is possible.
Yet, as we know all too well, change takes time. While we await the next step with trepidation, Somerset Council has confirmed an extraordinary meeting of the Executive Board at Frome Town Hall on 23rd January to discuss the sale of the Saxonvale site.
As we look to this meeting and hope for a positive outcome, we invite you to make a wish with us—for Saxonvale, for Frome, and for what could be.

After our long and determined fight, we hold on to the hope that we will turn these wishes into a reality. We are excited to start development, to engage with you, and to breathe new life into Saxonvale—a place that belongs to all of us. These possibilities are what keep driving us forward every day.
Together, we will create a place that truly belongs to us, for our town, for our community. We hope 2025 will be the year Saxonvale is finally what it should be—ours.
